No..I actually dont have a phone...

Hello.
It has been awhile!! Mostly because I explain all important things that happen to me to people on msn like 8 times and then I dont feel like writing it here again. BUT SINCE I HAVE A WHOPPING 9 FOLLOWERS I THINK I PROLLY SHOULD SHOULDNT I?

Interesting things that have happened to me so far:

1. I went to a club. I was a superstar. YEAH.
2. I went into a washroom and walked in on a homeless man taking a "shower" in the sink. It was a little weird. It still remains unknown if he was speaking german or his own personal language.
3. I watched the sun rise in Montmatre. That was amazing.
4. I bought 932829835 postcards which need to be sent. THAT IS PRETTY INTERESTING.
5. I got lost in Paris. With no phone. But its cool. All I needed was a bowl of pasta and a heineken and it was alright.
6. I went shopping.
7. Still havent gone to any museums. RER strike and trains are not moving out of the suburbs.
8.I walked from Sacre Coeur to Notre Dame. On NO SLEEP. And I still thought it was beautiful.

I miss you all.
Have a pleasant day.

its the same in every language....

I went out for the first time last night....a "soiree" if you will. I had a surprisingly good time considering I knew no one. Its very pretty out at night and its so quiet. I hope I can do that again.

The other day I had to wait at the pool for a few hours. I really like it when there is no one in the pool and it is completely still. Its quite nice for a few minutes until they all jump in and it doesnt stop moving.

I hope to go to Paris tonight but I am for sure going tomorrow and I am very excited about that. I AM GOING TO PARIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone else here thinks its nothing to go into Paris but I think it boggles my mind.

I miss you all and wish you were here. Yesterday I rode the carousel hahhahahaha. My first purchase in france was two tickets for the carousel. It was the prettiest one I think I have ever seen but very old and made of wood and it had pigs and stuff instead of all horses. And art deco style paintings of naked women on the top of it which I found very odd for a childrens ride.

I watched this show the other day and I couldnt believe they actually did it. There was a giant pen with a little pool in it filled with balls and blow up fish. There was a bull/calf in the pen. I dont know how to explain it but it was perhaps a teenager bull. A junior bull. Anyway...they put CHILDREN DOWN THIS SLIDE INTO THE PEN AND THE OBJECT WAS TO COLLECT AS MANY BLOW UP FISH AT A TIME WITHOUT GETTING HIT BY THIS BUCKING BULL THAT CHASED THEM AROUND THE PEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldnt belive it. These kids were like eleven or twelve at the most. There was a red team and a blue team.
Blue won....who puts a kid dressed head to toe in red INTO a bullpen and expects him to win. Hahahahha. Nonetheless...it was very entertaining.

cottage cheese and honey

My new favorite food is cottage cheese and honey. And honey on "Krisprolls" and a spoonful of honey with a "Prince" cookie. I love honey.
As for interesting news...I have none. Except for that I think I am getting the hang of it. I have conquered the BUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now all that is left is the RER and the metro. Which will be something.
I am quite busy.I dont really have time to take many pictures but WHEN I GO TO PARIS I WILL TAKE SOOOO MANY.
What a dull blog entry. I may as well have not bothered.

My dreams of writing in a journal every day are crushed because I forgot last night. And I cant write two tonight and pretend because I would know and everytime I read it I would know it was a LIE.

So far no friends. But it is still my first week. Pray to god that I dont end another one with "Its still just my second week." or "Its still just my first month"...Good Lord.

Well....Operation FIND LIBBY begins. I hope it is successful.

I love you all. Goodnight. Even though it is only afternoon there.

no really...i love mushrooms

Well today I started my first day. It went really well. And when I say really well I mean that everything that could have gone wrong...did.

I woke up late. The I was stuck. You see, there are 15 foot wrought iron fences that surround the yards here. They have keys, or codes. This one has a button. I did not know this. I proceeded to spend the next good half hour trying to open it with a key. There was no keyhole. I try to climb it because there are little copper spokes that come out of the garden wall, which is stone. Well it must not have been very sturdy because the wall started to crumble and the copper spoke fell and so did I. I also couldnt find a telephone in the house to call someone for help. They have all these telephones everywhere which are connected to the outside for intercom. But seemingly no telephone.
Finally I escaped. Not after looking like a complete fool in front of the poor dog.

Then I did very poor on my french aptitude test. I guess I retained absolutely nothing. But I am put in the advanced level because it is the only time that I can make it because I have to take a 1 hour bus ride to St. Germain en Laye every day. So that is 2 hours of french hell to deal with a day. AND I SURE DO LOVE PUBLIC TRANSIT.LLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO!!!!!!

It is not all bad. The 1 inch of snow ( which is soooo much to parisians !!!!!) is melting and it is not going to be as cold tomorrow. I probs wont have to wear 3 sweaters and two pairs of pants to bed tonight...which is nice.

My walk in the forest was nice. I saw another castle and also saw Paris in the distance and it was very pretty even if no one else thought so.

I have been eating very well. They have very good bread and I have to remember to buy some tomorrow. I had shrimp but it still had the eyes and stuff on it so that was weird. And I tasted champagne.

When you say "I miss my friends here" in french you say "Mes amis me manques" but it translates to "My friends miss me" which is very odd to say for me. Only because I think in english.

Ma famille me manque?

Doupsy...the westie bitch ( ahhaha) pees herself whenever she sees me. It is nice that she is so excited to see me but I dont like to clean it up.

Im going to Paris on sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE YOU ALL!

good thing I love airports.

He, shall remain nameless, who suggested I but a cajun wrap is completely wrong. Lets just say I am hungry again and leave it at that shall we? I am hungry now and although there is a bar over there that my mom says is allowed to serve me food I am still scared to go over just in case.

I think my hosting family is super pissed. And so is the taxi driver I had to call at like 5 in the morning their time. Apparently they dont get bad weather over there and so their flights never get cancelled. MUST BE NICE!

Slowly but surely everyone seems to be leaving the terminal and I try to follow them with my eyes to see if they are going to a super awesome restaurant that I had happened to miss but I always lose them. Also its a littly creepy to follow someone out of the room so I probably wont try that. I wonder where they are all going. I wish I was a more experienced traveler. Or that Libby was here. Libby would know what to do. WWLD. What Would Libby Do?

There are some really smart people sitting behind me discussing smar things. I wonder what they mean because they arent speaking english except for sometimes numbers. And occasionally Ghandi. I am a little afraid to talk about them ON MY BLOG on the offchance that they would read it and be offended. Even though I am just an eavesdropper who has nothing but nice things to say about them.

A man is walking around the room eyeing my outlet that I have my computer and cellyphone..I wonder if he is looking for an outlet too. I wonder. Maybe I should have struck up a conversation with him but it is so quiet here and it seems like everyone would be able to hear the dumb thing I would probably say to him .

I wish that Newark would have better weather that would be nice. If not then I will be spending the night at this airport which doesnt sound that fun but there is no way I am able to pay for a cab and a hotel room. Plus I think staying at a hotel by yourself is just creepy. Especially at the Quality Inn.

still in the terminal...

I am super confuzzled right now. So far this flight has been delayed three times. I wonder if I will make my connecting flight.

I really dont know what I am supposed to write on a blog. I could spend my time right now describing everyone in the room. Like the REALLY INTIMIDATING FLIGHT ATTENDENT WHO SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME AND THEREFORE I STILL DONT KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO GO DOWN. Or the lady in the boxy red blazer who is giving her a really hard time and she is taking none of it.

Yet another boston flight is let out. I have already drank a bottle of water and read an entire issue of cosmo which...by the way...I DO NOT recommend buying. I am absolutely sure I had already read the articles and Im pretty sure that no guys EVER write in their embarassing stories and some poor woman sits in a room and pretends to embarass herself as a man.

I have no idea what is going on. I am probably the worst traveller ever. I would go back and ask her something but she is too scary. And super pissed.

To all the three people who will read this...I miss you and love you. Unless you are a stranger who stumbled upon this lame ass blog. WHY ARE PEOPLE GETTING UP???????????/
DID THE PLANE COME?????WTF?

I wish I wasnt travelling alone.

On the bright side I havent lost my passport or any other important documents yet...

I have finally figured out one of the things that irritate me about this keyboard..there are no numeric keys. And also there are extra buttons where there shouldnt be. I will have to get used to TOSHIBA!
